PATMOS ISLAND
Known as the Jerusalem of the Aegean, where St John wrote the Apocalypse, Patmos has been a popular pilgrimage for all Christians. Visitors today are split into two groups, the first half that still come to the island because of its religious significance and the second half that come here for its lovely beaches, the tranquility and the unigue character of the island and its people.
